The Destination ImagiNation Support Committee (DISC)
Mission
The mission of DISC is to support the goals of Destination ImagiNation® and its participants through scholarships and community-building activities.
Scholarships
Each year, DISC awards scholarships to graduating high school students and those currently in post-secondary educational programs. Applicants must have participated in Destination ImagiNation (or other Destination ImagiNation, Inc. programs) as team members or volunteers.
Applications are scored based on the creativity of solutions to special DISC Challenges as well as past and continued involvement with the organization. There are three Challenge tracks for all scholars: Essay, Presentation, and Internet. Fundraisers are held both at Global Finals and throughout the year, and they include the sale of pins and t-shirts.
Join the DINI Group
The DINI group is an e-mail-based group resource for the global community of Destination ImagiNation Team Managers, team members and other participants and supporters. The primary purpose of the list is for sharing DI experiences, questions and anecdotes. Team members participate on this list, so please avoid any Interference. See the Rules of the Road for guidelines and definitions. Please use the official Clarification process for all Challenge-specific questions.
